Property Development

Penthouse @ 507 Broadway

503-511 Broadway Penthouse - Modern house with large glass windows and an angular roof, illuminated from inside, on a rooftop patio with wooden flooring at dusk.

In 2008, HSR Corp completed a major redevelopment of 507 Broadway with the addition of a 7,000 square foot penthouse. This project required reinforcing every floor of the building, updating the elevator systems, and restructuring the elevator core to support the new construction and provide direct access to the penthouse.

The penthouse was designed as a modern glass and steel structure, intentionally set back and hidden from street view to preserve the building’s historic cast-iron front facade integrity. Careful attention was given to ensure the addition felt distinct yet respectful, clearly separating new from old. The result is a seamless integration of a modern workspace atop a classic SoHo cast-iron building - executed with precision, practicality, and respect for the building’s architectural legacy.

Lana

LANA Exterior Facade - City street with modern and brick buildings, trees, cars, and a blue sky with some clouds.

LANA at 515 Ninth Avenue is a residential property development offering a boutique, luxury rental experience situated in Hudson Yards. Completed in 2014, the project involved transforming the former site of the Supreme Marconi Company into a striking, 12-story mixed-use building, thoughtfully designed by Hill West Architects. The residential component features 108 modern apartments in studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom configurations, each offering sophisticated finishes, expansive windows for abundant natural light, and well-planned layouts for upscale city living.

Careful attention was given to integrating new amenities with the preservation of the building’s presence in the neighborhood. The updated lobby and common areas, designed by Paris Forino, and landscaped rooftop crafted by Future Green, provide welcoming spaces that greet tenants daily. The redevelopment also included upgrading the building’s internal systems - elevators, entranceways, and shared amenities - to deliver modern convenience and that quintessentially New York lifestyle.
